Thank you from ELF

Help the E.L.F. raised over $1600 this year. The E.L.F. (Brendan Leyden) was overwhelmed and so grateful for the generosity of all who donated during such a difficult economic season. The E.L.F even collected hundreds of new toys from his grade school. He was also very surprised when Skates, the Chicago Wolves mascot, volunteered to help him distribute the toys at Central DuPage Hospital. It was a very heart-warming experience for all of us. Thank you once again for your support. Click here to see pictures of Brendan and Skates delivering the mounds of toys. We would like to acknowledge the following people who helped make this event run smoothly: Sara Muller at Central DuPage and Sarah Draheim and Skates from the Chicago Wolves.

50 percent of U.S. Vietnam War veterans with penetrating brain injuries developed epilepsy within one to 15 years post-trauma. The incidence of post-traumatic epilepsy is expected to increase among Iraq War veterans since they are exposed to more harmful explosives.
