Epilepsy Outreach News2nd Annual Change the Face Race ResultsSeptember 20, 2009 We couldn't have asked for better weather! What a difference from last year's event...sunny and absolutely beautiful! Thank you to all of our runners, walkers, volunteers, sponsors and continued supporters of the Change the Face Race! A special thank to Kate and Dave Merrill and Dawn O'Farrell who put together this spectacular event. Finally thank you to Patti Vasquez for emceeing the event as well as "Skates" the official mascot for the Chicago Wolves for entertaining the kids. 50 percent of U.S. Vietnam War veterans with penetrating brain injuries developed epilepsy within one to 15 years post-trauma.
